THE INSTRUCTOR
Varun Viswanath has worked as an editor and assistant editor in scripted television, film, and digital media for about 6 years. He has worked on projects such as Atomic Blonde (Focus Features); Arrested Development (Netflix); Trial & Error (NBC); Corporate, South Side, Review (Comedy Central); Scream and Finding Carter (MTV). Currently, he is transitioning to being an Editor on the upcoming season of What We Do In The Shadows (FX). Having worked on multiple formats and projects as both assistant editor and editor, Varun understands the importance and value of the role that an assistant plays in helping to shape and tell a story. He hopes to share that knowledge and prepare future assistants with the tools necessary to be strong assets on their future projects.
